From the outset, Bath Leasehold Management Limited was founded on a platform of compliance and regulation to provide our clients with an instantly trustworthy service which protects their commercial interests at all times. We embrace the introduction of strengthened leasehold legislation and support any initiative which regulates and improves the professional conduct of the industry.
To add substance to these statements, the commercial activities of Bath Leasehold Limited are underpinned by our associate status with ARMA (Association of Residential Managing Agents), our voluntary membership of CMP (Client Money Protect) which is not a mandatory requirement of the profession, and registration with the Government-backed PRS (Property Redress Scheme).
In addition to giving us the right to publish the logos of each scheme, membership of these three bodies also contribute to the overarching ethos of the company which governs our day-to-day conduct and commitment to professionalism throughout all our activities. We recognise our responsibilities in the course of looking after significant property assets, the interests of our clients and indeed the experiences of their tenants..
Client Money Protect (CMP) is a Government-authorised membership scheme for lettings and property agents in the UK devised to protect rents and deposits paid by tenants to our members. All tenants renting a property managed by Bath Leasehold Management Limited can take comfort in the fact that their money is paid to an agent fully compliant with all current legislation. In the unlikely event of a dispute, the rights of tenants are supported by the CMP and the Tenant Fees Act 2019.
The leading professional body for residential managing agents in England & Wales, ARMA promotes the highest standards of property, block and leasehold management via advice, training and guidance. ARMA members comply with an exacting Standards & Consumer Charter, in addition to operating in accord with the Service Charge Residential Management Code administered by the RICS (Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors).
Firmed by the Government in 2014, the PRS serves to provide an impartial service that considers consumer complaints about a variety of property related issues. Membership of the scheme highlights our desire to provide a valued and harmonious service to both tenants and landlords with the minimum of fuss. We recognise and respect the interests of both parties at all times which is reflected in all our communications and our willingness to resolve any problems before they escalate.
